Professional Neurodiversity Assessments

Have you ever wondered why staying organized feels impossible and social scenarios leave you feeling drained? Or maybe you receive weekly teacher calls to talk about your child’s inability to stay seated?

You’re not alone. Learning to understand “the why” behind these behaviors can help you uncover your abilities and potential. Through Neurodiversity Assessments, you can begin to learn your strengths and how to balance them with areas you find more challenging.

I believe that neurodivergence is not a deficit, but simply a different way of experiencing a world that was not necessarily built for you. Whether you are exploring ADHD, ASD, or other learning, emotional, or developmental differences, these assessments are designed to help you find clarity, support, and success as you move forward with newfound understanding about yourself and the world around you.

These services are avaiable for both children and adults; locally in Coral Springs, Florida and virtually in more than 43 states.

Neurodiversity Assessments for Adults

If you are able to stay hyper-focused on a work project like the rockstar you are, but then crash once it’s over, or washing, drying, folding AND putting away your laundry feels on par with climbing Mt. Everest, you could be one of millions of neurodivergent adults in the U.S.

Life doesn’t get easier as we age, it just brings more responsibilities and experiences. Many adults go through the first half of their lives without ever realizing that struggles with focus, organization, sensory overwhelm, and introversion (to name a few) can be signs of ADHD or ASD. According to The National Library of Medicine, neurodiversity (including ADHD, autism, dyspraxia, etc.) affects approximately 10% -22% of adults in the U.S. Adult Neurodiversity Evaluations provide clarity, self-awareness, and practical strategies for next steps.

This neurodiversity assessments focuses on assessing for autism and/or ADHD, as well as other emotional or personality differences, and can be completed in-person or virtually in 1-2 sessions.

Neurodiversity Assessments for Children

Does your child seem a little too forgetful, impulsive or impatient, or do they exhibit repetitive behaviors, sensory sensitivities, difficulty handling social settings, high anxiety, or mood inconsistencies? These are just a few examples of ways he/she/they might be trying to fit inside of a box that just doesn’t feel right.

For children and teens, ages 3-18, neurodiversity evaluations are designed to bring clarity when school, emotions, or behaviors can feel overwhelming. Whether you are concerned about attention struggles and ADHD signs, ASD, possible learning difficulties like dyslexia, or challenges with anxiety, depression, or other psychological, developmental, or academic concerns, I take a holistic and individualized approach to understanding your child.

Depending on the reason for the evaluation, neurodiversity assessments can include:

  • Intelligence Testing
  • Academic Achievement Testing
  • Executive Functioning Assessment
  • Other Neuropsychological Testing
  • Personality Testing
  • Testing of Social, Emotional, and Behavioral Functioning

Evaluations can be completed in one day or over a series of sessions, depending on the scope of testing and to help keep kids engaged and comfortable.

We are proud to accept the Step-Up Scholarship!

I am an approved Direct Pay provider for the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities (FES-UA) through Step Up For Students. This means eligible families can apply their scholarship funds directly toward psychological testing and evaluations without needing to pay upfront and wait for reimbursement. For students from age 3 through grade 12 (or up to age 22, whichever comes first), this program helps make high-quality evaluations more accessible by covering costs associated with diagnosing and understanding learning differences, ADHD, autism, and other unique needs. By partnering with the FES-UA program, I am able to ensure families in Florida have a clearer path to the answers, strategies, and support their children need to thrive.
